STAINED CANVAS

An evolution of color field painting; at once subtle and fluid, then emerging into complicated fields of 

intricate form and pattern.   These works are painted on raw canvas, allowing the pigment to become part

of the canvas weave itself; permitting light to emanate through the fabric.
